Anand S. Krishnan - Managing Partner

Anand Krishnan has 30 years of experience in Entrepreneurship, Controllership, Internal Audit, Investment Banking and Private Equity. He was Involved in sovereign restructurings in the late 80’s, Asian Crisis restructuring in the late 90’s and the Global meltdown with emphasis of restructuring in the UAE. Anand has been integral to the value creation process in the PE space across deals at JP Morgan Chase and at Dubai International Capital, having managed AUMs of over $13bn through a period of 10 years with significant experience in the full cycle of PE, and in a diversified space which includes, Aerospace, Leisure, Hotels, Sports, Medicine, Oil & Gas. From 2010 onwards, Anand deployed proprietary capital in researching the sports ecosystem prior to structuring and raising capital for the FW Sports Investment Fund. Anand worked with sports marketing and operations professionals during the proprietary capital investment management stage. Having a global mindset with emphasis of risk diversification and creating value with synergies within the fund portfolio, Anand has an undergraduate business degree from Delhi University, MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson, USA, has been a participant in several leadership courses across JPMorgan and DIC in Asia and the US, and was named a “Top Indian Leader in the Arab World” in 2015 by Forbes Middle East.

Rajeev Kalambi - Principal

Rajeev has 16 years of experience in in consulting, capital markets (research and deal origination), debt (corporate banking) & investment banking (private equity & M&A). Of this, 8 years was spent in investment banking – deal origination and transaction execution across IPOs, private equity fundraising and M&A. He established the New Delhi office for Edelweiss Capital and Cipher Capital and was an executive committee member of SMC Capitals prior to joining FSIF. Rajeev has experience of PE deal dynamics through close interactions with ~50 prominent PE funds on transactions, and has good relationships with numerous Indian and Asian funds. Rajeev has a Master's degree from the Delhi School of Economics and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. With experience across various elements of finance and structuring, Rajeev offers insights in investment decision making and value creation at Company/Board level. Rajeev has a strong network and relationships with corporate groups, investment banks & intermediaries, audit firms and lawyers across Asia for deal sourcing, through which he has introduced multiple deals for active consideration since joining the firm in mid-January, 2015.

Srirama J. Srinivasan - Director & CFO

Srirama has 18 years of experience finance across platforms and roles – manufacturing, telecom, banking, private equity (deal structuring, closing), sovereign wealth funds, corporate banking (deal origination and financial closures), portfolio management, strategic tie ups. His 7 years of Private Equity experience encompasses deal negotiation, transaction execution, and financial closure across private equity and debt fundraising. In his previous role, he established the Global Strategic Equity Fund under DFSA. Srirama has worked on various committees on large LBO transactions, and worked with Standard Chartered Banking Group in strategic outsourcing of Finance Function from Jakarta, Singapore and New York. Srirama is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Works Accountant, CPA (Australia), Six Sigma Black Belt with a strong network and relationships with banks, audit firms and law firms in the Middle East and India.

Amit R. Krishnan - Director

Amit has been involved in various capacities in fundraising, deal sourcing, diligence, transaction negotiation, and final closure of six investments over four years, totaling over USD 50 million. He was responsible for the overall strategy and corporate practices of FidelisWorld, a sports and media investment firm, and its portfolio companies. Amit’s previous experience includes helping to manage the acquisition and integration of a major Middle Eastern steel foundry and valve manufacturer by Tyco, the global industrial firm. He was a summer analyst at JPMorgan’s German ECM desk in London – named “Best Equity Capital Markets House” by Euromoney for the year 2007. Amit is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the General Course at the London School of Economics with a major in International Political Economy.

Gaurav Prakash - Associate Director

Gaurav has 8 years of Private Equity experience with FSIF, Summit Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. He has evaluated Venture Capital and Private Equity transactions across North America, Europe and India, having covered healthcare, life sciences, internet, software and consumer sectors at Summit Partners from 2010 - 2013. Gaurav joined Bessemer Venture Partners in 2007 and covered Internet, Financial Services, Consumer sectors. Gaurav began his career with Tata Strategic Management Group in 2005. He is a mechanical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi), and holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, besides being a CFA charter holder.
